Do you need in-depth marketing research & development?

Gwen undertook several large qualitative market research projects in the 90s and early 2000s, as South Africa entered into its new political and economic phase. These were undertaken for dedicated market research companies requiring long, expert interviews, analysis and reports. Subjects included the value of casinos to the economy and the political future of South Africa from the perspective of big business and potential political leaders including Trevor Manuel and Jonathan Ackerman.

In 2013, she re-entered this field with market research into the viability of business in Ghana, for an international engineering company. In 2014, she researched the transport & logistics fields in Kenya, Tanzania, Ghana and Zambia. In 2016 and 2017, she researched into Legal Aid in Africa, IT systems and management practices for Legal Aid Botswana. In 2018/19, she assisted a black-owned marketing research company with its background research and report editing. In 2020/21, she did considerable research for parastatals in South Africa and international finserv organisations.
